System was installed three years ago, however, float switch was not in the right position. Replaced float switch with SS2. Cycled and tested system, all operations OK at this time.
No cooling, client wants a second opinion because another company was out here and diagnosed a bad compressor. Upon arrival started up AC system. Indoor fan came on, however, condenser did not. Checked power at outdoor disconnect box to condenser and not getting any voltage. Checked compressor windings, getting continuity at all compressor windings, also checked each winding to ground, not getting any short to ground. Checked circuit breaker panel and found compressor circuit breaker on. Tried resetting breaker a few times to see if it would send power to condenser. Still not getting any 240 V to condenser. Needs to be diagnosed by electrician to determine why voltage is not present at condenser. Upon further evaluation of system did find a weak outdoor run capacitor. It is weak on the condenser fan side and should be replaced. Recommend recommended replacing outdoor capacitor and signing client up for annual membership. Scheduled appointment for greenlight electric to come out and e
Upon arrival, customer stated that the lobby AC was not working upon further investigation, looked at it. System got down to 70° temperature coming out is 55°. Everything is working to manufacture respect no issues with the lobby AC.

This job won’t start for about six weeks out, but he’s also getting other estimates.

Cam out for drain line being clogged. Cleared drain line and got machine back up and running
Install float switch and extend out and make sure machine is operational before leaving
Performed tuneup on 2 AC systems. Inspected indoor and outdoor coils, flushed drain line, replaced air filter, inspected blower wheels, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major in minor electrical components. Upstairs system not cooling properly, found system low on refrigerant. Client approved to put UV dye into system and charged with 3 pounds of refrigerant. Need to return in 3 to 5 days to perform leak search with black light. Both systems are up and running and cooling good at this time.
Sent holly new system estimate for new 2.5 ton carrier system
